When we tell others that Jesus has already done everything on the cross, many wonder: “Then what’s wrong with me, that the finished work isn’t showing in my life?” and start analysing themselves. Jesus really has done all the work on the cross, and now the Holy Spirit brings it into our lives and our circumstances. There is no need for self-digging, for it is not our responsibility to make this or that blessing appear in our lives, but the Holy Spirit’s. And nothing is impossible for the Lord: He will restore you, “perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” (1 Pet.5:10)
